Sub Cultured – The Grand Theft Auto Vice City Iceberg Explained

In this iceberg Andy knocks it out of the park diving into the deep lore and secrets of one of the greatest games ever made.

Also, seeing as how I probably put at least 2000+ hours into this game back in the day, I’ll let you guys in on a couple cool tricks I found.

For one, even if you are at the beginning of the game, you can steal the Apache (“Hunter”) helicopter at almost any time. The way you do it is to steal any helicopter you can find (airport, etc.), land it as fast as you can next to the Hunter in the army base and steal the Apache (you’ll probably get it a bit damaged but who cares).

Another fun trick is when you finally acquire the car dealership, the inside of the car dealership is impenetrable. As long as you have a ton of ammo, you can sit in there for hours with five stars.

Lastly, and this was one of the funnest things my brother and I would do, is to go to the dirt bike track and do 1440’s (yes 1440’s) with the street bike (PCJ-600). Normally, you would be lucky to even pull off a single 360. But there’s a specific spot near the dirt bike track where a small lip of grass is. If you hit it just right, you can literally do 1440+ spins (you can get the bike on fire while you do it to make it that much more awesome as well).

Here’s an image of where the spot can be found (it’s a bit hard to see, but it’s the thin green line right at the very tip of the red arrow).

I may just start playing this game again. Those were some fun times.
